I watched this movie the other day
Her (2013) – IMDb
and i really enjoyed it.
we are constantly growing and during the process, we pick up many things.
sometimes we are influenced by many things that surrounds us.
at the end of the day,
what we want…
is it what we really want?
are we not merely collections of influences that have come before us?
can we really say this is who i am?
can we really say this is what i like?
can we really say this is our choice?
then who are we?
this is where the journey begins…. i guess.
my flight out of Osaka was at 8 so i had to get up around 4:30 in the morning finish up the packing and went to the airport around 5:30.
took my flight and came back to my house in harajuku around 10:45
unpacked a few things and got ready to go have lunch with
Padmini and Lily, both Jivamukti teachers here in Tokyo.
we got some vegan burger at FM dining, bar and cafe.
its about 3 min walk from my house and the burgers are pretty good !! how fortunate to find such a nice place to eat. 🙂
after the meal, we came to my house to do some group study.
some asana, some philosophical things.
its always good to have a satsang.
then i packed my luggage for the pick up (i usually send my luggage to the airport day before my trip and i pick it up at the airport so i don’t have to carry my luggage to the airport. one of the great things here in japan).
then went to the veggie night@ Crayon house.
they usually have one day out of the month where they only serve vegetarian meal. (mostly vegan!!!!)
i really enjoyed the sushi and the radish cake.
can’t get enough of those radish cakes..
that was my day back in tokyo was like.
next step taiwan!!!
started the day with some work then
lunch at “eat more greens” in Azabu.
its a really nice place.
had my favourite “taco-rice”
so think of the burrito salad but with lots of rice at the bottom.
its a japanese original dish i think.
swirled matcha vegan cookie.
on my way to Roppongi Hills, saw this baby making funny faces.
just couldn’t resist myself not taking a picture.
the snoopy exhibition.
friends of Charlie.
charlie and snoopy.
made some vegan stew for the night.
it came out really good.
good food, interesting things.
life is good.
slowly adjusting from the jet lag and now the WS and class is done, i finally had some time for my own.
i asked Hama-chan, if he could come over and cut my hair
we went to get some mexican food afterwards and
i was walking around Harajuku.
how i missed this craziness.
its filled with so much energy from the youth.
this was my breakfast in the morning.
kinda heavy but it was okay.
landed around 12ish and made my way back to the house first.
without really resting, i went to teach the OMOHARA YOGA new moon special class.
do i look a bit tired?
free coconut water too!
it was a mixed level so we did many asanas on the floor but it sure was really fun.
thank you for coming!!!
